Collaborative Learning Introduction

Different strategies in collaborative learning are a way of achieving these outcomes. Collaborative learning activates students to learn together and take responsibility for their own learning. It encourages a joyful and flexible learning environment and increases student autonomy and ability to use learnt material in different contexts.

This website provides both a theoretical background and practical advice on designing and delivering units of study for collaborative learning.

Team-Based Learning (TBL) is a well-developed and tested collaborative learning strategy and this website has a focus on diverse uses of TBL in teaching business students within a research-intensive university.

The aim of this site is to provide the tools and for academics to design their collaborative learning teaching to suit their particular discipline, their students and personal preferences
